Sustainability is a buzzword in the construction and forestry industries, but for Austin Wood Recycling, it's more than just a phrase.

Environmental consciousness is woven into the very fabric of our business model, from giving natural materials a second life to recycling water used in our operations.
One of the most impactful aspects of our business is the relief we provide to landfills. Before clearing and grinding contractors like Austin Wood Recycling existed, massive amounts of green waste was hauled off and dumped into local landfills. Not only did this take up space, but as the green waste deteriorated, it produced and emitted large quantities of harmful methane gas.

Instead of diminishing local landfill capacities, our 27 grinding crews are able to give green waste a second life by turning cleared bushes, trees, and stumps into mulch.
As the nation's largest grinding contractor, we are proud to be part of the solution, practicing responsible forestry.
